HOTSTART UL Recognized Battery Thermal Wraps prolong battery life and improve cranking power in the coldest conditions. The UL Recognized wrap maintains battery temperature at 80 °F (27 °C) for maximum cold cranking amps for a wide range of battery groups.

Designed for worry-free operation, the built-in thermostat prevents damage or spills caused by overheating. The wrap's durable, fire-retardant vinyl resists oil and acids. For easy adjustment or removal, the wrap includes a convenient strap and buckle. Constructed with multiple battery sizing in mind, the wrap is available in multiple lengths tailored to ensure a perfect fit – eliminating excessive overlap or exposed, unheated sections.

Batteries lose their ability to provide full cranking power in temperatures lower than 80 °F (27 °C). In freezing temperatures, a battery can only provide 65% of its full cranking power, and in extreme weather, an unheated battery's cranking power may fall to 40% or lower.

All wraps come with a 9" (229 mm) pigtail with a 3-pin connector for adapting to a NEMA or Schuko plug. To complete your wrap, please order the necessary power cord with plug for your application.
