International Sales Liaison
Hotstart, Inc. has an opening for a position of International Sales Liaison, Latin America, based in our corporate headquarters in Spokane, WA. International Sales Liaison plays a key role in supporting revenue growth by managing key international customer accounts and target prospects, particularly within the Central and South America region, as designated by the company and aligned with its strategic goals. The responsibilities of this position typically include the duties listed below; however, they are subject to change based on market conditions and the company’s evolving direction. This role is expected to support a variety of markets, products, and services offered by Hotstart, with a primary focus on the Power Generation (PG) market in the LATAM region. As part of the Sales Department, the international sales representative is expected to contribute to the overall success of the company’s international business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and strategy development for customers in the LATAM region.
- Promote products and offer optimal solution-based service to customers.
- Take ownership of and actively get involved in various projects, including Business Opportunity project management, sales pipeline tracking, support issue resolution (e.g., RMAs), pricing negotiations, and forecast updates.
- Maintain monthly sales forecast and provide strategy updates to the International Sales Mgr.
- Manage customer relationships by building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers through consistent and timely communication, including customer visits as required.
- Follow up on customers’ inquiries and order entries.
- Qualify sales leads and maintain a pipeline of prospects.
- Handle field issues and customer complaints while cooperating with Eng/QA/Production/ Logistics and Accounting.
- Share market demands and customers’ needs with pertinent Hotstart teams.
- Track sales metrics and provide reports on performance and forecasts to Market Manager(s) and Sales & Int’l Dept Manager.
- Collaborate with internal team players and other departments to enhance the overall customer experience.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Support any International Business Development tasks and projects, as requested.
- Serve as a backup for other international subsidiaries’ sales functions, including Order Management and more.
- Represent the International team in cross-functional meetings, as requested.
- Investigate and support the development of new markets, assigned by the company.
- Participate in company events held in Spokane or outside upon request, including Sales Department meetings, training sessions, exhibitions and industry conferences.
- Support the Product Management and Marketing teams by providing customer insights, market trends, competitive analysis, and market research findings.
- Communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate Hotstart values and be a good role model in the office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales or a related subject or equivalent industry experience in sales support, customer support or international logistics. This position requires travel or working across time zones.
- Valid driver's license. Maintain travel passport with a 6-months validation at a minimum.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.). ERP experience such as IFS, SAP, Infor is beneficial.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; calculates figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, circumference, and volume. Collects and researches data.
