HOTflow® Technician Certification Training

HOTSTART's HOTflow® Technician Certification Training is a program developed to train dealer and distributor technicians on the proper installation procedure for HOTflow® heaters. This is a free one-hour webinar where attendees will learn:

Overview of HOTflow® Heating Systems
Safety and Prep for Installation
Mounting the System
Plumbing the System
Coolant Requirements
Start-up and Commissioning of the HOTflow® heater

Following the presentation, participants will take a 25-question test to complete the course and earn their 2 year "HOTSTART Certified Technician" certificate.

Benefits of being a Certified Technician

With HOTSTART's certification, you will be recognized as an expert in engine heating system installation and support. Knowledge of common installation variables will guide HOTSTART Certified Technicians in executing ideal installations that maximize heating system performance. All certified technicians will be listed on the HOTSTART website as a resource for customers looking to upgrade the engine heating device on their power-generation unit. HOTSTART Certified Technicians are also recognized by utility companies as qualified installers for rebate programs or deemed measures that require a certified installation for energy efficiency upgrade rebates.

Schedule of Webinars

HOTSTART offers a variety of times and dates for the HOTflow® Certified Technician training. Participants with test scores of 88 or higher will receive their "HOTSTART Certified Technician" certificate within 10 business days of taking the course.
