Account Manager
Hotstart designs, manufactures, and sells innovative thermal management solutions for customers in a variety of industrial equipment markets. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team based in Spokane, Washington. This role will work jointly with the Machinery Market Manager and support existing off-highway machinery market customers in North America through pre-sale and post-sale activities involving our current thermal management products. The Account Manager will also be responsible for prospecting to develop new business in this market. With the rapid growth in development of hybrid and fully electric vehicles and machinery, the Account Manager will also have responsibility to pursue opportunities to develop thermal management solutions for OEM’s and users of this equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop a knowledge base of Hotstart Thermal Management products, solutions, and technical specifications
- Develop effective working relationships with customers to maximize sales opportunities
- Proactive interaction with existing and prospective customers to develop new business opportunities based on sales strategy
- Consistent communication of business opportunities with the internal organization
- Identify new product opportunities and develop business cases to support development
- Demonstrate a cooperative working relationship with co-workers
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and collaborative manner
- Demonstrate initiative to improve professional skills and department processes
- Meet all commitments, and other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree from four-year college or university, or equivalent experience
- Background in working with customers to develop technical solutions
- Previous experience and established network in the off-highway, on-highway or commercial electric vehicle market preferred but not required
