Sales Support Specialist
Hotstart designs, manufacturers, and sells innovative thermal management solutions for customers in a variety of industrial equipment markets. We are searching for a Sales Support Specialist to join our Customer Service team based in Spokane, Washington. This role will support our outside sales team by maintaining strong relationships with existing customer contacts and taking ownership of account management including order entry, scheduling, and customer communication, primarily for Railroad and Natural Gas Compression customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support sales team by communicating closely on major accounts, issues, and new sales opportunities
- Work directly with customers assisting them with product price and availability, order entry, order status, forecasting, and problem solving any issues or concerns
- Coordinate customer demands with Planning, Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Shipping to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service with the goal of promoting long-term customer relationships
- Provide support to the sales department in other areas and accept additional responsibilities as necessary
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal including excellent knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- PC Skills (including MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Detail-oriented and highly proficient in data entry
- Team player and self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize workload and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Great attitude and lots of enthusiasm are essential
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Data Entry and Customer Service background
- Experience in an MRP production system preferred (Hotstart uses IFS).
