Fire Pumps
Fire protection systems are critical infrastructure for safety in buildings. Fire pumps are an integral part of a sprinkler system, providing high-pressure water at an increasing flow rate when in use. NFPA 20 standards for fire pump diesel engines requires the water jacket be maintained at 120 °F (49 °C), ensuring reliable starts. Hotstart has a range of thermostatically controlled heaters available that maintain the required temperature.
